You can have eternal life in heaven with God
The Problem: You are a sinner and sin keeps
you separated from God.
To sin means you have disobeyed God. Let's look
at the Ten Commandments, for example. (Exodus 20:1-17) Have you
ever told a lie? Have you ever taken something that did not belong
to you? Have you always honored your parents? Has anything in your
life ever been more important than God? Have you spent more time
with TV, sports, money, friends, clothes, music or cars than you
have with God? The problem is that the answer these questions is,
"yes".
"For all have sinned
and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23 (NIV)
Justice will be done: God is just. A penalty
must be paid for our sin, and that penalty is death.
"Therefore, just as sin
entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in
this way death came to all men, because all sinned."
- Romans 5:12 (NIV)
Jesus has paid the penalty for us:
"For God so loved the
world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in
him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John
3:16 (NIV)
We have a choice: We can pay the penalty
for our sins ourselves. That penalty is death. Or we can accept
the free gift God has given us through his grace. God gave us His
only Son, who paid the penalty for our sins so that we can eternal
life with God.
Tell Jesus you have accepted
His gift
